Kanto. Years ago... what the fuck?[break][break]

The leaking interdream would display the fire and brimstone that was olden Rocket's history. The pain, the hate, and everything inbetween. He found his face coated in sweat more, as he panicked. This was just like back then...[break][break]

He was just in the rift of the Ultra Sea. Why here?[break][break]

Unfortunately for him, he had no time to ask that question. From above, roaring it's way downwards at top speed, Roaring Moon unleashes a FLAMETHROWER from above, and dowses the area in more flames, with a surprise entrance from Holy Diver covering him, as Ashley's tired, fatigued brain looked at the aerial foe.[break][break]

Unfortunately, as Holy Diver hops in the way with an AQUA JET, the Buizel is taken out due to an earlier fight with ollie morales , leaving Ashley's face riddled in sweat.[break][break]

"Shit."[break][break]

He returns Holy Diver. And throws out his only other option to take to the sky; Bass the Noivern. Alright weakened from earlier as well.[break][break]

This was about to be an uphill battle.

The interdream mist has yet to toy with her mind, but she's aware it's there, tugging at the threads of her subconsciousness to draw forth weaknesses she does not wish exposed. There's a hiss as she hides from the giant beast -oddly resembling a psychedelic Salamance- as it blasts for fire and destruction. Kyrenai's not its intended target, moreso a byproduct of being at the wrong place at the wrong time. Or is she?

Beams of red light notify her of pokémon being switched out, and as a Noivern takes flight she takes another look at the figure not too far away from her. Tsk. Not her target. Which means she could just leave and let the interdream mist continue taking its toll on those present.

If only it hadn't displayed Kanto's destruction.

If only she hadn't recognised it.

If only the memories of the warring days where she entertained many by bringing silent death didn't prance around her mind.

If only.

Sometimes, just sometimes she hated when the devotion to her craft crumbled for the kindness it had tried to snuff out.

The assassin balls her fist and smacks it against the formation she's hiding behind, cursing silently before stepping out in the open. Her other hand has moved to fetch another set of pokéballs from her waist and tosses one forth; a bulky Carracosta appearing almost instantly. "Your target," she points at the beast up above. "Aid the Noivern." Until I say differently. But she didn't have to say that out loud. Her Carracosta nodded and prepped itself, unleashing a Hydro Pump at the Roaring Moon when its attention was on the Noivern.

"And you-" she says, louder while pointing at Ashley Shepard. "Consider me an ally until we maul that thing." Be this stanger Rocket or League; she couldn't care any less. Only the safety of her charge, who was currently not present. So effectively, she could and would do as she pleased, even if it meant aiding those not on her proverbial side of the field.

This was something else.[break][break]

Ashley was lightly panicked at seeing the other person here, vibrant red hair the first thing he can see. But seeing her loudly pointing his direction, Ashley and Bass stare back with a nod. The Roaring Moon, racing through the sky, as Bass came in with a SUPERSONIC to disorient it, as the Carracosta Hydro Pump attempts to blast the beast out of the sky.[break][break]

Ashley calls back out. "Appreciate it! And uh, ditto." His voice isn't panicked, not yet, but down a Buizel to the firey hellscape wasn't a pretty spot to be in. Hopping onto the back of Bass, he grips the dragon's back, as he turns towards Kyrenai.[break][break]

Temporary alliance. If she attacks me, this becomes a much more troublesome fight. He ruffles Bass' head, and nods.[break][break]

"To the sky."[break][break]

With a launch into the sky, the Roaring Moon would speed by the quartet, turning vertically, and making one hell of a u-turn as it stopped midair, Bass turning the one-eye its direction, as the ancient dragon attempts to speed up and slam a DRAGON RUSH into the ancient water turtle, angry eyes baring down upon them.

Her temporary new ally takes to the sky, leaving her and her partner to stand their ground--literally. Roaring Moon seems ill-tempered and all but pleased with the new pair butting in, now aiming its attacks at them instead.

After all, their manoeuvrability was nothing compared to a sky-bound rider.

But that did not mean they were helpless. As the Roaring Moon made a most-impressive U-turn and came barreling back down with a Dragon Rush in tow, the Carracosta takes a stand and braces itself, conjuring a Protect to counter the Roaring Moon's attack. Much like a parry would, the ancient beast is propelled back into the sky from whence it came, only slightly shaken from the impact, allowing ample moments before it can collect its bearings.

"Your serve!"
